Lighting Small Venues
You should light your stage no matter how big or small the stage. It’s amazing what happens when you add lights to your set(s). It really compliments your sound giving a “nightlife” feel rather than a local musician hashing out music. Instead you are giving an experience and mood to the audience
For Volcano Vineyards I bring with me a fairly inexpensive setup with clamp lights (home depot $4.99), colored florecent bulbs and a halogen stage light for wall splash. Here is a video some friends recorded after the show.
